Serves: 2 Prep Time: 20 minutes
2 ea, 7 oz. Pork Loin Chops, well trimmed
1 jar B & M Mountain Cherry Preserve
1/8 tsp, Nutmeg, ground
1 oz, Cherry Liquor
1 Tbls, Parsley, fresh, chopped
Sea Salt & Black Pepper
Season pork chops well with salt & pepper. Place in broiler, turning to cook evenly. In sauce pan, add liquor and reduce slightly. Add Mountain Cherry Preserve, nutmeg and parsley, bring to simmer only. When chops are ¾ done, spoon chops with a little sauce, continue to broil, until done. A glaze will form on the chops in a few minutes. Serve additional sauce on the side.
Serving:
Place chops on platter, in a shingled manner, pour sauce over chops, serve fresh sautéed vegetables, potatoes, rice or pasta on platter.
